Question slp cold air induction any good?

i just bought a 98 Z28 and am thinking about this kit as one of my first mods, was just wondering if anyone here has installed it oe knows someone who has. is it worth the money? www.tbyrne.com has it in a package with an SLP airbox lid, a smooth bellows, and a k&n air filter for about $250. any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I think it's worth it. My engine felt like it finally opened it's mouth when I put it on. There is a free ram air mod at www.installuniversity.com though.

Between you and me, I wouldn't hack it, just spend the $$$ for the Cold Air Induction

It's not a bad mod, but if it were me i'd go with just a lid and filter and do FRA(free ram air) and save for a cat-back or some SFC's

I have heard that the bellows do not do much and that ssra is better than cai.
