No ... lost 3 mph and ET at the track - it was the second time and last time my car ever saw a 14 second time slip ... 3* KR and a lean condition SES light ... other than that it had a great SOTP and throttle response ...

You must have forgotten to get the "cold air tuning."

Just kidding

The GMAF has a cold air option not slp. I have tried both a slp and while the car felt faster and had better throttle response my a/f was 11.5. Also recently had a pace vv which has the least of amount of negative feedback. When I had someone autotap the car it was running very rich at wot and lean at part throttle. Also the SES light came on after a few wot's runs. Both suck without tuning but the slp was better since I never got a ses light and while I was running very rich I probable picked up some hp. I wouldn't get one unless you have at least a predator or MAFT to tune. With tuning you could probable see a good gain.

Back when my car had only a few mods K&N FIPK,G-MAF, SLP y-pipe, Magna Flow catback, 160 stat, HPP3.

I tried a friends Pace vv MAF and his SLP lid, gained 1.5 mph and dropped 2 tenths w/ no SES light.

But, now with the cam I might try going back to the stock one?

I had good results with the PACE LS6 MAF?

I also saw maybe .5 MPH with the G-MAF.

I need to stop spending money on the same type of mods

When I first put my pace vv the car had much more getup and go. The gears just revved out much faster. However after getting a ses light with this and had the car autotapped I'm now running stock but the car has always felt weak up top with the stock maf. I'm gonna get a predator and do some tuning since my car runs like a total dog in the heat. Then I can leanout the car at wot and get some more power from either the slp or pace.
