simple mods to make a little quicker before i get my headers
Welcome to the board.
Is your car stock? If so, read the first 3 pages of LS1 Engine Tech and you'll find plenty of info. If not, you'll still find plenty of info.
Really. Try it.

As 95GRNZ said. you'll learn way more by listning than talking. Go and read every thread in about the first 3 pages of this section and you'll never regret it. Tons of info on just what you want/need to know.

thats just my screenname. I have a 2002 ss camaro with the slp options. I am saving up for my headers right now. But while im waiting i was just seeing what other people are doing just to make a lil quicker.

JH or hookers are excelent choices...great quality and decent price.
SLP...expensive, about the worst clearance of any LT setup
look into Flowtechs..i have them and love em, went in and fit GREAT..with a great price.
so the normal "basic mods" list works:
lid, filter, thottle body, headers, catback/cutout, pulley, tune, larger maf (argueable)
parts that don't add HP but will make the car seem faster in some ways:
lca, torque arm, gears, stall
