SES light with Long headers

I have a Camaro SS 2002 which I installed headers about a year ago. After first installing them, the SES light came on for about a day and then went out and has been out since then.

About a week ago, the light came on again and has not gone off.

I took it to the dealer and he is saying that the headers and high flow cats are causing the light to come on and that the engine computer must be reprogrammed to recognize the higher flow.

Has anyone had the same experience? Is the dealer correct in saying that the computer needs to be reprogrammed? If so, how can I do that?

welll.....what code is the SES for?

if it's the rear o2 sensors than there is a specific code for that.

it could be something else...could just be an old sensor
