Thumbs down SES Light - AIR System Bank 2 code

Is this the back 02 sensor? The SES light came on half way home from work and I took it to a friend's house and he scanned it for me. So what's up?

That's the one. I was doing some google searching and what I read said it was on the passenger side. So I take it, it is a simple swap?

Rrrrreal simple. I changed both check valves in 10 minutes. If you replace it, clear the code, and it comes back, it's either your tubing or (most likely) one of the O2's on that bank.

Yeah, passenger side, I mistyped. Only tough part of job was breaking valve loose where it screws into large hose. I unbolted the 2 10mm bolts from manifold 1st so I could get it in a better position for a good pull on the wrench, with a second wrench on the hose hex.

Just in case you get one of those parts guys who's still looking for a water pump for a '68 VW Bug - the GM PN is 12565503 for cross-reference (same for either side).

Thanks for all the help guys. The light went out the next day which is kinda weird. I'm gonna keep an eye on it though and probably end up swapping it out. So clearing a code is the same as it was with my Iroc right? Just disconnect the battery for like 15 minutes and then hook it back up?

I actually ran into this with the 02 sensor code. I pulled some simple maintenance(replaced fuel filter) and cleared the code and it went away. just something to consider.
