Hey guys. I just bought this car on Sat, July 10th. I've had it for 6 days, and already my service engine soon light has come on. Earlier today. The car had about 28,275 miles on it when the light came on. Help!! Is there a problem withthis car I should know about? What should I do? I went to Dobles in Manchester, I live in NH. The service dept wasn't open, but I'm gonna call tomorrow.



Anyone recommend any good dealers in NH?

only way to even begin to figure it out is to figure out what the code is in the computer.

could be just a glitch, a bad sensor, or maybe something serious.

Well, nothing is running funny. I'm kinda pissed, because 2 days after I bought it, the brakes squeak, a belt squeals, now this service engine soon light comes on. I'm getting pretty pissed off about this car. But the thing runs damn near amazing. So I don't have much to complain about. I love the car, I was just ranting I suppose. I assume a dealer has to check the code, that's expensive, refering to the last time I had it done.

Autozone will scan the code for free.
My SES light comes on when I use non-Mobil/Sunoco 92-93 gas. Fill up with the good stuff and the light goes off.

I called auto zone today, and they said they'll only do it for free if they're not busy, otherwise they charge. That sucks.

 

everybody at auto zone is a tard. no matter where the store is. the ones here dont charge if they are busy they just make you wait for ever and a day to check your car. luckily i just always grab the machine and do it myself.
