i just bolted on an SLP loudmouth to my 98 and i'd just like to recommend it to anybody who might still have the stock exhaust on their LS1. I've heard good and bad things about it but after having it on my own car, I LOVE IT!!! it's got an angry moaning tone to it under load and it's actually not loud enough to be horrible on the neighbors despite the lack of a muffler. Plus it's cheap! it's also pretty easy to install if u don't want to pay someone to do it for u.....

also, can anyone tell me if $320 is a good/bad price? it's too late now obviously but i'd just like to know....

 

I loved my Loudmouth. The only reason I changed was the great deal that I got on true duals.
