?'s about shift kits

I was just wondering what the gains would be. Is there a down side to doing this mod. Any information on this subject would be helpfull.

Thanks
Wes

Hmm, I used to have an A4 and I had a shift kit in it.. Get a Transgo would be my suggestion.. Will they kill your tranny faster? In theory NO.. Why? Cause it is causing less slipage so its better for your tranny.. In reality it comes down to you.. I found myself often enjoying a WOT romp.. That is what kills your tranny cause you start abusing it more...

I do suggest getting one but also, get some dyno runs, to see where you need to put your shift point at.. Thats the best way to get the most out of it..

good luck!
