Running open exhaust manifolds

When I put my ORY pipe on next week I may have to go drive it around with open exhaust manifolds, no cats, before I put the pipe on. Just to see what it sounds like. Are tehre any potential problems with this? As long as I let it warm up its not gonna shoot ***** of fire out into the engine bay or anything right? Thanks

I seriously doubt it's going to hurt anything unless your doing revlimiter burnouts or lay into it WOT for the whole trip.

It will run like crap because the front O2 sensors mount in the y-pipe and without their input the car will go into limp home and set all sorts of codes.

Mine does for the fronts and for the rears even though they are useless (I plugged the rear ones)

Fat heat build up in the engine compartment because they are so short.
