Remember the blue camaro with some kind of wide body kit?

I remember seeing a blue camaro with a wide body kit or something that made it look somewhat like the early 69's camaro but it was an LS1 with big thick tires and wide fenders. I had the picture but I can't find it anymore, does anyone know which one I'm talking about? Do you guys know how he made it that way, is there a body kit or something? I want to make my LS1 look like that, it looks nice.

Its not a body kit those are custom body fenders. Also its not an ls1 its a C5-R race block.

I'm pretty sure that was custom made for the project.

Good news is, you can fit 315's on 17x11's on front wihtout flaring your fenders (or maybe just barely) .. you'll need to roll the lip and pound the inner fender.. You might need an adjustable phr out back to center your rear perfectly..

You can also barely fit 315's on 17x11's on the back without much work to (although the wheels at full suspension droop may hit the jounce (did I spellt hat right?) spacers..

There's two popular offsets.. around 52 mm and 34 mm.. I believe the 34 mm ones came stock from orignal Corvette ZR1 (they had a wider body).. Do your research to confirm, but I believe i read the 52 mm just fits on the back and will need a small spacer up front... some people claim they got the 34ish mm spacing to fit all around within the fenders ( must be tight in the rear )

I heard 315's all around tramrails alot on the street.. but the roadracers that have em swear by the setup for the track.

Yeah thats it!! That car looks awesome!!! Too bad it's not a body kit, I thought it was some kind of fender flare molded on or something. I saw a Wide body fender kit on ebay and thought that was what it was, but too bad

I looked at it every day from Nashville to Dallas on the Power Tour. It was absolutely the baddest looking Camaro I had ever seen. The pictures just don't do it any justice either. If I had enough money to buy another 4th gen I'd want to make it look like that one. I could never bring myself to cut up my SS unfortunately.

I don't think they are ever going to race the car though.. It would make a great AIX car..

How much do you think Chip Foose would charge to custom build that exact body kit me?
