Rear Suspension

I was wondering if anyone here has modified their suspension to be like a chevelle or mustang. If you dont know how that is they have the lca straight like on a stock camaro but instead of having a panhard bar and a torque arm they have upper control arms that mount on top of the pumpkin and go off at an angle to the outside of the car. Just wonderin how much fabrication would be involved and if there would be much benefit in this setup.

I think an aftermarket 4-link would be doable in our cars, but I am not sure it would be worth it unless you were going to back-half the car.

The f-body three link is better than the Olds/chevelle/stang 4-link; there's nothing you'd gain with that conversion, even if there was room for it.

There are, however, conversions for Mustangs so they can upgrade to a 3-link suspension setup. Do a 'mustang torque arm' internet search.
