my rear end is making a noise that sounds like tire noise. When the rear tires are lifted off the ground it still makes the same noise. I changes the front pinon bearing and the noise is still the same....


Anybody have any ideas????

 

Did you do both bearings & the crush sleeve?
Did you check te backlash & pinion depth?
Did you check the contact pattern?

 

i am not sure about the ls1's, but some of the lt1's do that when you don't use the gm friction modifier in the rear.
