re loudmouth

I'm looking at the loudmouth system, wondering is this system so loud that the cops will give me hassles? I live in the Cincinnati area anyone is this area had problems with the cops?

Its pretty loud. But I would'nt say cop problem loud. Now if you plan on headers or getting rid of the cats or both you may want to look into a muffler to queit it down cos the RASP will be nasty and that will make the cops notice you BIG TIME! Overall on a stock cat and manifold exhaust I think the loudmouth sounds the best just my .2 CENTS.

It definately depends on your area. The loudmouth is very loud but most cops won't pull you over for it unless they hear you go WOT. So if you get this system you want to accelerate like a old lady when a cop is in traffic.

Smaller rural areas where cops are bored and not used to loud exhausts are generally where people would have the most problems. BTW if you find the interior drone on the highway is too annoying or the rasp is killing your ears then pick up a $36 dynomax bullet race muffler to replace the resinator. It works wonders on the rasp and drone some loudmouth owners complain about.

Good Luck

I'm in San Diego and so far I have'nt gotten any grief over mine yet (SLP LM/Y-pipe combo). However I converted the Loudmouth to a "dynomouth" with the larger 18" dynomax bullet.

It's actually quieter than my old 80 series Flowmaster at idle/low rpm, but once I start to get over 2000rpm (in a 2.73 car) it gets VERY deep (no rasp though).

Not too loud and definitely one of the best flowing exhausts out there.
