Rattle coming from the front 01 z28

I recently purchased a 2001 z28 with the 5.7. Everything was working fine until i noticed a small rattle coming from the front of the car on the passenger side. Its beginning to get louder. It happens at slow speeds like under 10mph but doesn't happen all the time, just sometimes. Does anyone have any idea what this could possibly be? Thanks in advance for any help!

Manual or auto? Just curious.

check the sway bar links and control arms; might have a broken or worn bushing on one.

Could be an exhaust shield under the exhaust manifolds that's coming loose. I recently changed motor mounts on my 2000 Z28, and had a bit of trouble getting one of those shields reinstalled. I've got a rattle now, and I know that's where it is on my car.

^ditch those heat shields. once i put my headers in, im not putting them back on. My buddy ran all year with every single one removed and he had zero issues.

Sounds like heat shields or some exhaust issue. Check your hood though, the hood supports might need a little adjusting. Theres tons of things that mighta came loose.
