Question random misfire

I just changed my plugs and wires the other day. Autolite Iridiums and MSD wires. I have HP Tuners, so I was using it to look for misfires. My SES light does not flash, and no codes show up, but HP Tuners is telling me that cylinders 2,4,6,7,8 are misfiring 0-4 times per cycle. It happens more at idle than when cruizing. Any idea on what could be the cause, or should I just not worry about it.

Re: random misfire

If it doesn't set your SES don't worry.

Re: random misfire

an 02, huh?... I'm thinking cam sensor signal is falling off.. I believe that's what tells the computer to fire which cyl... but if it's from a newly changed part, it most likley wouldn't be that..

I haven't heard of LS1's running Autolites... those are typically Ford Plugs. I had a wicked bad misfire problem on my previous car due to Bosch Platnums. ...Bosch no workey on GM DIST less ignition.

do you flat out feel and difference or hear any thing. If you got miss from my experence your gonna know about it. It might sound like a pop or kind of like a back fire if its bad.
