How does the ftra or ssra fit around the hood latch beam? Did you guys have to remove it? Thanks for any help

Joe, I'm the producer of the SSRA. The FTRA stops short of the hood latch brace above it. The extension they sell attaches to the back side of the airbox and extends down in front of the radiator. Thus it doesn't encounter the brace. The SSRA is a two air box design. The top box also stops above the brace. The bottom box(scoop) has reliefs cut into that allow for the lower box to be inserted into the upper box around the brace.
