Ram Air

Hey guys i Have a whisper lid and k+n air filter on my 98 z28 right now. I am looking to improve the intake. I have been looking around and found the super sucker ram air kit. its to pieces of plastic one goes under the front fascia and connects to another piece of plastic that goes from right in front of the air box lid down ot the other plastic piece suckin up they air. Do you guys know anything about this its on ls1speed.com. Its $220 Is there any other kinds of ram air systems or intake system you prefer?

From personal experince I have found that the Stealth airbox assembly gave 16 more hp than a lid/ftra and a holley filter.

Yeah i got the Supersucker. It works awesome. I can tell it's working becuz my filter gets pretty dirty. I definitely felt a SOTP difference. You can really feel it come into play around 50mph.

whisper lid

How is the installation on the lid? is it hard ot put together? I am having second thoughts about the super sucker ram air because I have heard good things about the whisper and fast toys ram air kit. Plus the fact that they are 100 cheaper helps alot. I live in New Jersey n lately we have been havin pretty crappy weather snow or rain atleast 2 days a week. SO a block off plate would help alot. If ur serious about sellin it private message me with ur info. From what I have been told the slp, whisper, and fast toys ram air kits are all about the same?

Yeah the SLP, Whisper, and ftra are all about the same. Get whichever is cheapest. If you want something a lot better get the supersucker. LM Performance has the supersucker for $219.

Due to money contraints I'm gunna have 2 pass on the super sucker ram air kit and go for the whisper ram air kit almost a 100 dollars cheaper! Is their anything that has to be cut in order for it to fit? The sl, whisper, and ftra are pretty much the same setup?
