IIRC there is a sensor on the radiator on the passenger side towards the top. Drain the radiator about half way and replace the sensor, or just unplug it, that may work. Eric L

Or it could be a air pocket, but i would bet on a sensor. Hope this helps, Eric L

The sensors are so flaky that GM quit using them. Just unplug it and the light will go out. And keep and eye on your coolant level yourself old school style.

Just make sure you unplug the coolant level sensor and not the temperature one.

Temp sensor is in the drivers side head. Level sensor is in the passenger side of the radiator. Hard to make that istake.

Same problem here too, just unplugged the sensor for a while, no problems, but then I finally bought the replacement sensor from O'Reilly's for like $45 and changed it. Don't even need to really drain the radiator to replace it. Just have the new one ready when you pop the old one out and be quick about changing it...it's just a clip that holds it in if I remember correctly. It'll make a little bit of a mess, but then just top of the radiator and you're good.

Same problem a while back. I changed the low coolant sensor, square censor with a plug, on the left side of radiator near battery. Easy fix.
