Racing fuel???

This wed is my 18th and I am taking my car to the track for the first time. My friend was telling me that they sell racing fuel at the track for like $6 a gallon, I was wondering if I put racing fuel in my ls1 if it will hurt the car at all, and what kinda of hp increase could I expect if any? I was planning on taking my car really low on gas and putting in a couple gallons of racing fuel... is it worth it?

No and no power increase.

Use premium.

Do you have higher compression, forced-induction or nitrous? If no, just use premium unleaded. Race gas is actually less efficient fuel...

If you just have to run it just to say you are, then just make sure it is unleaded.
