R/T Y-Pipe/High Flow Cats

I have a Loudmouth exhaust system on my car right now and was interested in buying a R/T Y-Pipe/High Flow Cats. I got a couple of questions before I do, though.

-What headers will fit on to this Y-Pipe?
-How will this affect the sound of my car/any horsepower?
-I will bolt on right to the LM exhaust, right?

If I think of anymore questions I will ask, but these are the things I need to know as of now. Thanks a lot!

r/t.....is that random technology?

i would say don't even bother, you'll probably gain less than 5hp with the ypipe. there really is n't much to gain for the high cost. and any shortie header designed to bolt to stock Ypipe (pretty much all of them) will bolt to any aftermarket ypipe that has been designed for stock manifolds.

We've found that some shorty headers won't bolt up perfect with this Y-pipe. It's pretty much designed to be used with the stock manifolds.

Don't buy an aftermarket Y-pipe unless you've got longtubes .. too many other great mods that you could do instead .. The same goes for shorty headers.

Yea, now Im thinking about getting some Pacesetter LT's, get those hi-flow cats and have them welded onto a Custom Y pipe that'll fit the headers.

since you are in florida, why are you worried about emissions? i plan to install flowtech longtubes this weekend, with their Ypipe into a magnaflow catback.

i'll be letting everyone know how things work out and how the install goes.

I just hear all the crap about if you get caught you get a 5000 dollar ticket and blah blah blah. I just think it's better to be safe than sorry. I might just forget about the cats though, if I dont feel like paying the money for them.

You'll have to get oxygen simulators (O2 Sims) if you decide to go catless. $90 for a pair from most online shops.

any tickets i've heard of, in states that don't check emissions...are the kind that if you fix it...and have it rechecked and you pass...than all you do is pay court fees....like $25

but not sure

i've NEVER known anyone to get pulled over and checked...and i've been in florida 8 yrs
