A quick word of praise for DMS Springs...
From what I understand, there has been a little bit of controvery about DMS springs and the quality vs. price, etc...
Some might think that since they are a bit more affordable they they lack in quality.
WRONG. In a rare case, cheap price does not mean cheap product.
I was looking for springs, and Eric talked me into getting some of his to try out. Some of the things he said really made me go with them instead of a more well-known brand.
He told me that one of the DMS guys is a springs guru and has many years experience in them and found the rates he thought would be best and that they like their own over Eibachs. I also found out that they use their own springs on their personal SS with the same shocks I was putting on my SS (Bilsteins). I figured that I would take a chance and bought them and installed them. I am very glad that I did.
The drop is JUST RIGHT. I mean PERFECT. It is low enough to look stealthy, but not too low to look ridiculous. Just enough to look...different and aggressive but too much of either, just enough. I put on the Bilsteins when I did the springs, and the ride quality is remarkable similar to my '96 with the Level II suspension (SLP .75 drop springs with SLP/Bilstein shocks), but it is just a little lower than that to look a whole lot better. Right after I did the install, I took the trip to Bowling Green, KY for the f-body event. It was kind of taking chance, but the drive was just fine with the new suspension. It is a firm ride (naturally), but not rough enough to be uncomfortable and the car handles noticeable better. During the trip, my wife never complained once and slept easily during part of the trip. The CD changer skipped once on the way home from Bowling Green with a fairly heavy bump on the highway, but was the fault of the highway and other than that, NO problems at all.
Most of you know that I don't personally promote a product that I do not feel comfortable with, so when I say that if you are looking for springs to get the same characteristics that I got with mine, give the DMS's a shot. You won't be sorry.
I'll have before and after pics soon...but just read the description I mentioned above. That tells it all.

Jason,
Thanks for the good words! Its much appreciated. I'm glad you helped point out that just because ours are cheaper in price, doesn't mean they're cheaper in quality. Told ya you'd love 'em

I too purchased a set of DMS springs for my '00 SS, and all I can say is "Right On!!". I went with 1.25" drop in the front and 1.50" in the rear, and the car looks like it should, slung low and fast! I kept the stock shocks (for now), and the ride quality hasn't suffered at all. Handling is alot tighter, and the pitch and yaw associated with the stock springs is completely gone. Again, kudos to DMS for getting me a great product at an unbelievable price!!

Eric, do you make drag launch springs?

Like how much less.........
Help a newbie out here guys......I have little/no idea how much Eibachs go for ($500?), but wots a set of 4 DMS springs go for (95Z, M6)?
I've bought a lot of stuff from Classic Industries, a mostly OEM, resto supplier, but they have a set of lowering springs in their new catalog for $250/4 I believe. Anyone know whether they're any good or cheap crap? Hate goin' cheap, but I can't pour too much into the ride at this point.

Sorry Eric, I usually only post my sig in my first post in a topic, then don't add it to any following posts(like I did in here).
Anyways, check it out(sig is attached to this post), and I'll get back to you

Well if you Novice racers are concerned with lowering springs & traction or wheel hop at the strip, all I have to say is DMS. My 60' times went from 1.9's to a new best of 1.81 with DMS springs. No Stall. My car has never had wheel hop either at the track. DMS's spring rates, in my mind, are the reason for my success. Once again I strongly recomend them for the road racer/drag racer.
Camaro00_ss and smokin '94 Z,
Thanks for plug. Its definitely putting a smile on my face that our springs are making a huge impact on those who have purchased them. Hopefully more and more will start to realize we're out to give them the best products without the high prices

WOW that SOUNDS great 1.25" front 1.5" rear
I have SLP Level-1 on now and am VERY VERY unhappy with both the Eibach springs and SLP
1) The springs lowered my car 3/4" right rear, 1/2" left rear
and the front is so high it looks like im trying to launch in to orbit!
Grrrrr Looks TERRIBLE!!!
2) When I called SLP and complained the told to wait 6 months and they were sure they would settle. 6 months???? Well its been 4 months and nothing has changed, if anything its gotten worse.
Im going to call SLP 1 (ONE) more time, if they still won't make things right with me, then not only am I buying new springs, Im boycotting SLP
This is not the first time that they have screwed me over.. Sorry this post is so long but just talking about it makes me mad again!
