questions on slp package from factory?

my friend is looking at an 02 ss black on black m6. the car looks and drives awsome has no
mods except it has been lowerd. the car came with the slp package new, but i dont think
it would have lowering springs, also would it have upgradeed shocks? i dont know what kind
of springs they are , but they are powder coated red the only springs that I know of that are
red are the bmr's. any way the car has 14000 miles one it and they are asking $26k for it. this
is a link to the car. Let us know what you think.

The cars with the SLP suspension used Bilstein shocks and 1" lower Eibach springs. But they were black

The 1" lower Eibach springs were only used on the 00' model cars that got the Bilstein Ultra Performance Suspension.

The car in the picture has definitely been lowered.

Those are neither the Bilstein Ultra-Suspension nor the 1LE springs. It might be these though: G2 Super Springs
LG Motorsports springs will provide the perfect combination of improved handling and that lowered look everone wants. The front springs are linear(approx. 548 ft/lbs) while the rears are progressive (180-230 ft/lbs) and the set will lower the car approximately 1.25 inches. These springs are powdercoated red.

the dealer had a black 02 SS A4 on the lot for a LONG time, I believe it too had the lowered suspention, at first I thought it was the 17" wheels but it sat really low.
Also this one had the central exhaust.

I never said it was the Ultra Performance springs, now did I? I was just merely letting Mr. Behnke know that 2000 was the only year that got the Eibach 1" lower springs.

The 2nd part of my statement was just in agreenace that the car had been lowered. I never offered my opinion on what spring might have been used.
