QTP Equal Length Long Tube Header. Anyone heard of them?

Two members mentioned them to being the best and the best for clearance.

The site says the following " You want the best long tube header? The longest long tube header on the market. The only equal length header. No clearance issues. The highest flowing header. Choose from 1 3/4" or 1 7/8". Both have 3" collectors. Ceramic coated inside and out. Emissions style or race style."

If you have them installed or know of someone with them on.....
post what you think.

Thanks

i dont know anyone w/ them, but im pretty sure thats what im getting when i get the money. ppl tell me to get the FLPs, but my friend has it and he regrets getting them... didn't ask him why though, it slipped my mind.

i want QTP... i'll get them w/ the off road y-pipe since we dont need them in florida. only thing is, if you get stopped by a cop, and he looks under your car - yer ***ced, lol.

what i'll probably do is like go to a junk yard, find 2 cats... cut them in half, and weld them on to the y-pipe so it looks like i have cats on my y-pipe, lol. that way if i get stopped by a cop cuz he thinks im too loud, and he looks under my car, he can't give me a ticket cuz i dont have cats on. i mean... i would have cats on... but they'd just be on the outside of my y-pipe like a cover. you get me?

sneaky sneaky sir

if you have a better idea, let me know... i just dont want to buy a y-pipe w/ cats if im going to end up taking off the cats. i dont need them... so i dont want them, lol

Afterimage- if you want cats I would suggest getting carsound cats, you can get them real cheap, about $50 a piece. Or you could go with the most flowing cat the Random Techs. Supposedly they don't do much to obstruct the passageway. But they are pricey at $150 a piece. Carsound are the 2nd highest flowing cat. The random techs are supposed to be super high quality too. So good luck with your decision. Also your making the right choice with the headers, I have spoken to a few people with them and they have no regrets. Also your friend probably doesn't like his FLPs because they bang his floorboard.
Also he is a pic of them on a lowered car, I believe it belongs to the owner of QTP, I got it from their site

I am going to get cats for sure. Not that I'm worried about emmisions returning, but for the smell.

I spoke toBarry at QTP and the clearance is the best and the flow is the best. He seemed pretty confident about his product. Placing order next week. I need to find out what cats I am going high flow cats I am going to get.

By the way, I am happy I helped you out with your decision, but now I have become envious of you When you get them installed please make a post about much much you like them, I really need to get off my a$$ and order them already....c'mon uncle sam, send me my tax return!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also for the cats, I would suggest Carsound cats, very cheap, and very high flowing, or if you want even better ones, go with the Random Tech cats, they flow a little better, but are a lot pricier.

These are almost the only headers that I haven't heard a complaint about. When I save up an arm and a half I'm gonna get these things.

When you hollow the cats out, please wear gloves and a mask. Cats are lined with asbestos. Its not good to get that all over yourself and in your lungs
Thanks for the heads up, but I've decided to get maybe carsound cats. Ordering next week

Magyver, if your goin' to the track tomorrow...there will most likely be a silver '00 Z29 (Mecham) there. The guys name is Brian and he has Grotyohann LTs, they're the same header as the QTPs.
I think I was the only silver z28. The other silvers were SSs. I think I saw loudmouth, but it was too cold to walk around. I think loudmouth ran against a 2003 405 stock horsepowered M5 and beat him. The kid has the same rims I have on my ride.

if QTP's are similar to Grott's than thats where i am going. Heard TTS where similar also. Never heard anything bad about Grott's, and TTS's except for the price, so the new QTP's are probably going to be pretty crazy.

Yeah same reason I am going with the QTPs, they are the same exact thing as the grotts, but now they are available. As for the TTS, I am not sure if they are a similar design, but I am almost 99% sure they are not the same design

hhmmm, guess i need to quit listening to people . As for my choices, QTP's sound good or TTS. Why, never heard any problems with the 2.

Nah, listening to people is what you should do. Whenever I have a decision to make I always post the question to find out what the best is and what will help me the most for what I am looking for.

Real Dual Exhaust

I am setting up a company to sale the dual exhaust system but if I want to sell them here, I have to become a paying advertiser.
