QTP Cutout

What do you guys think? I have a corsa with FLP's, and I thought something was wrong with my exhaust, because it just doesn't sound quite like I wanted it to. So, I am thinking of ordering the QTP Electronic cutout, and attach it to my I-pipe. That way, if I want it to be loud, flip the switch, and open the cut-out. If I want it to be quiet, let it flow through the exhaust. What do you guys think? Let me know, thanks.

I have two of them on my C-5. It is fun to be able to flip the switch and have some serious rumble when you want to. Another added bonus is that they are worth 2/10's in the qrt. mile. Get them, they are quality pieces!!

How easy is the install? I'm thinking about putting it on my I-pipe (pipe that connects between y-pipe and exhaust). Good or Bad idea?

I had my tuner do it. It's complicated on a c-5 (very tight under there). I would just let a muffler shop do the pipe install and then wire it yourself. Cheap and easy.

As posted above find a good muffler shop and let them install it. My son just put a cut out on his '95 Z28 and it will shake the car and just about anything around it when you open it up. His was installed on the short section of pipe where the cat was located.
He took it down to a dyno shop in Memphis a few weeks ago, and everybody in the shop gathered around when they opened it up.
