Q for u guys, about nos

hey i am looking at buying a nos kit for 500 canadian , i just wanted to know if i should upgrademy 99 z28 in anyway so that i dont kill the motor. Respectivley i know that nos does harm the engine but i am hoping a once and a while burst isok. So my question is whats the + and - of running nos and what do i need on top of the full kit. thanks allot . vader

1) It's called nitrous. N.O.S is a compnay that makes nitrous kits.

2) You'd need a WOT switch and a fuel pressure safety switch at least, and an RPM activated window switch to be that much safer.

3) Don't spray more than a 125 shot without upgrading your fuel pump and injectors, and correct programming for that.

That's the basics

if setup correctly N2O is safe(fairly) and not all that hard on the engine. as Bone Maro said use a WOT switch, a fuel pressure switch and stay with a 125 shot max on a dry system and 150 max on a wet system. you can go bigger with a better fuel system but then the bottom end is subject to go boom.
I have had N2O on a couple of my cars and going to run a big nasty setup on our current project.
remember 1 thing the stuff is fun as all get out and it can become difficult to stay off the arming switch and you will want to go more than a 125 shot, just don't. actually I guess that is 2 things to remember
