Proud owner of a new WS6 :)

Wellp, I went out and bought myself a brand new (basically) silver 2002 WS6 I traded in my Camaro, so I guess GrdLockV6 isn't the best name for me on the board anymore, but oh well I don't feel like making a new one! I think I got a decent deal, got it for $24,988, sticker was like $29,000 or so. It's used, barely, had 2,500 miles on it, perfect condition, fully-loaded, etc.

Anyways, I'm loving it to death, I already ordered a cut-out for it... only temporary though. I plan on saving up for Borla or another nice cat-back, but with the $348/m payments, it's probably gonna be a while until I get all the money for that, so I figure I'll get an inexpensive cut-out just to open up when I feel like having the car roar Cut-out will be here tomorrow morning, hehe, can't wait. I've dreamed of having a mean-sounding LS1 for a long time, and it's finally come true! Anyways, here's a few pics of it.

I'm finally part of the LS1 group! Feels good

EDIT:

Yes, it's an A4 (save your flames M6 lovers :P ). WS6's at dealerships are suprisingly hard to find in Houston... I found a nice 2000 silver A4 WS6, and when I went back to buy it, someone had just gotten it, so I called literally over 50 dealerships searching for one, (found a few pewter, white, and navy blue ones, but I didn't really want those colors) and finally found a 2000 M6 black one, and I was on my way to buy it, when the dealer next-door had this one, and their price was only $1,000 more then the '00, so I figured I'd rather have a basically brand new one rather then an M6 with 25,000 miles

2,500 miles! That is barely broken in. Sweet dude. Just sweet. I never knew what I was missing out on these things are beasts. (I also used to own a V6 f-body)

Is it true there are no speed limits in Texas?

I WISH!!! LOL

Let's see, I have 5 speeding tickets on my record right now I believe, and have a 6th that I'm going to court over in June (this one's BS, fudgin cop didn't even use his radar gun, and said I didn't signal when I switched lanes, when I was in the same lane the whole time!) stupid cop.....

There is very much so a speed limit in Texas.

Yeah, the only cure for the mod bug is the limited-funds bug Which will be the case for a while

awesome Car!, Automatics are nice, they're as smooth as any other car, and they are freaky fast, i test drove one and it felt like a few seconds and your up to 90. i've got an M6 cause it's feels great to shift but one day i will have one of each. plus with the automatic shifter you can make the trans do whatever you want, shift into OD,3rd,2nd smoothly, it's great. it also feels great when you've got a full warrenty and you don't have to worry about breakdowns. congrats!

Oh, so very nice!! Glad you finally stepped up!! Now, gotta drop it into the weeds, so get yourself som DMS springs, $150 to your door...then, those wimpy pipes out back gotta go too....FLOWMASTER, LOUDMOUTH, straight pipes....of course, gotta breathe better, a lid and filter to complement that WS6 intake plenum...sorry, got carried away. It's a sweet ride, and once it's broke in, it'll just get meaner!! Turned 24k in the 01WS6 A4, damn thing don't even breathe hard up to 130..!! Enjoy your ride!

Congrats on the new car Kyle, it should be a wee bit faster than your Camaro so I'm sure you'll love it.

If I had your car, the first thing to go would be the stock hood but that's just me. A Firehawk, Raptor or WS.6 hood just looks SO much meaner than the stock T/A hood.
