Pro 5.o Vs. Hurst

I HAD THE HURST UNIT IN MY LAST F BODY, AND WAS NOT VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE SHIFTER. NOT VERY SMOOTH SHIFTING BETWEEN GEARS. HAS ANYBODY HAD BOTH KINDS? I AM LEANING FOR THE PRO 5.O FOR MY NEXT SHIFTER ON MY NEW F BODY.

Thumbs up

BurnOut5.7,

I haven't had the Hurst shifter, but I had a B&M Ripper in my
'94 and now I have a PRO 5.0 in my '98.

The Hurst looks similiar to the B&M. IMHO the PRO 5.0 is
considerably better than the B&M. The PRO 5.0 has a spring
detent that will automatically center the shifter over the
3-4 rung of the shift pattern. B&M doesn't have this.

Hope this helps.
