Question Price for Factory Z28 Muffler

I recently installed a Flowmaster muffler on my Z28. A neighbor of mine wants to buy my original factory installed muffler.

Anyone know how much these mufflers cost, or what the recommended sell price would be for my factory muffler?

Thanks in advance

SLP sells takeoff mufflers so compare prices there..

or you can be a good neighbor and just give it to him.

I gave mine to my brother. I know a lot of people who throw them away. If you are going to sell it, I wouldn't expect much money.

I would say $40-50 since its new and thats a decent price for a muffler. Not too expensive and yet you arent giving it away.

GM wanted like 200.00 for a new one when i inquired, but because of the SLP take off for 79.99 , i say 40.00 or 50.00 cause SLP will charge 40.00 to ship.

Yeah, if he's going to give you some cash I'd say $30-40 is fair. Heck, if your neighbor wasn't 3,000 miles away he could have mine for nothing, and just get it OUT OF MY BASEMENT!
