For the money, you can't beat an airlid. I have the SLP lid, and would recommend it. The fit & finish is great. What you will have in the end is another 7-10 rwhp for less than $100. This is probably the most popular LS1 mod.

by far, hands down, above all else...
cheapest....most hp for the $$...is nitrous.
for about $700 you can have a setup with all the precautions...and run a nice mild 100hp shot.
for naturally aspirated options:
lid - $100 (all are the same other than look and price)
ls6 intake - $300 used
headers
exhaust - hooker, magnaflow, tsp rumber $350-450
gears
DO YOURSELF A FAVOR...
go ahead and read the first 10 pages of this forum....most of your questions will basically be answered. trust me, you are not the first to ask a question like this...
and become friends with the almighty SEARCH button
