power ant mod!!

Just completed the power antenna mod and man how cool it is to finally have. It sure makes it easier putting cover on my car now and is a lot easier at car washes now.

I would assume that he's talking about putting the Firebird power antenna on a Camaro.

I was going to do the power antenna mod but one day i took the antenna off and took it for a spin, surprisingly with great reception. I put a little peice of black rubber hose over the threads and left it like that. Now whenever i am sick of cds i just switch to the radio and get reception without an antenna. No money spent and no worrys about it getting bent or having it stop working.

Yup ... there's a guy here local that makes a liitle silver "button" that replaces the Camaro antenna. You still get great reception, it looks good without the mast sticking up, and the car cover slides right on.

Thumbs up sweet antenna mod

I would actually like to have this done to my camero, both of them. Where can I go to get my antenna installed, here in ornge county California, and how much would it cost? I'm by no means technically challenged, I will respectfully let a professional do it for me so I don't mess anything up or scratch the paint.
Sweet antenna dude

For those looking to get in touch with Brian about the "button" antenna, he can be reached at:

brian@spectaclesolutions.net

I'll let him know that he's about to receive a flood of e-mails.
