My g/f just got a '99 firebird V6 with an auto. It has borla exhaust, headers, and other little things. The shift points seem to be off so I am suspecting gears. I full revolution of the rear tires moves the drive shaft 1.5 times. The car I believe came with 3.23:1 because on the shift selector it say "123DRP". Would my 1 revolution of the wheel to 1.5 of the drive shaft equal 3.23's? Help me out please I got the car up on the jack now. Thanks

 

3.23's. You can also tell by looking at the RPO codes in the glove box. Look for GU#.

 

I know the car originally came with 3.23's, but my question is have they been changed? Does the one revolution of the tire equaling 1.5 revolutions on the driveshaft egual the gears still being 3.23's?
