Post your times

Ok, I want to know what you all think, my dad recently had his cam and heads done, the full package, cost him $8000, he was running 12.7 before hand at 322 rwhp on his firehawk, after the cam and heads, on nitto drag radials he is running 12.06 while spinning, having shift problems(auto) from 2-3 and 3rd really bogs down after the shift, so hopefully he can make 11.8 -11.7 his 60' times are 1.6 as well, what about everyone else?

With a lid, smooth bellow, ram air peice, Loudmouth, lower control arms, and sub frame connectors, I ran a 13.64 @ 103.78 in the florida summer heat.

Now i have long tubes, 3-inch y-pipe, 3.73s and tuning...hoping for 13.2s, thats my goal.

Re: Post your times

Houston heat - 13.1's @108 consistantly with bone factory stock car and street tires. 2.0 short times. If the air would get cooler, 12's would be had for sure.

I think the thing that helps take most of the time off, is the torque converter, after my dad put it on he lost near 1/2 a second
