Possible to find a 98 SS that does NOT have T-Tops?
I'm toying with the idea of maybe trying to find a 98 SS as a second car, both for some fun highway driving, and also something I could take to the track once in a while.
But I do NOT want one that has T-tops. Mainly for safety reasons (I don't want to be in a T-top car on the track in case it should ever flip) but also because "open air" driving isn't my thing. I used to own a T-top car years ago and took them off maybe twice.
But almost every Camaro I've seen on eBay and other places seem to have T-tops, and every SS I've seen has them.
Were there any 98 SS's made without T-tops? Any info appreciated.
Thanks!

i have a 98 w/o t-tops
i own a 98 ss that is convertible....and yes i know that there are 98's that are just regular hard tops. if you are interested in a 98 white convertible im oing to be selling mine soon. but if you just want a hard top thats cool too.

I may be wrong, but I believe T-tops was standard when ordering the the WS-6 package, at least on T/A's, they came with everything. My SS is cloth, no T-tops, 6-speed, and no traction control with the Auburn rear end. Not many were made that way. I believe only 11 silver SS's came that way in 1999, but I can't access SLP's site to find the numbers. My 1 of 27 was when I was unaware of the Auburn rear end.
