I ported my TB myself. It can be done on a metal lathe or with a dremel tool if you're patient.
I can't say I've really seen more than a couple of hp from a stock car in all the people I've talked to. H/C or FI cars may see up to maybe 8-10 rwhp though. It essentially widens the TB from 75mm to 80 mm. The gain isn't much on a stock car.
I don't recommed buying an aftermarket BBK unit - way too many problems with them. If you can't do it yourself, order a swap through MMS or MTI or something.
