po 343 code

Just put a LS1 with M6 complete with wiring harness in a 97 S-10pu, don't have rear o2 sensors. I am told I can program them out or do I need to buy something that will fool the ecm. I am also getting code PO 343 cam sensor code, what usually causes this code, it has to crank for a few seconds before it starts is that because of the code.

Yeah, slightly longer cranking time is a symptom of P0343 according to www.gearchatter.com/viewtopic9025.php
