Please Help, Random Misfire/Lean Condition!

2001 WS6. just changed the plugs & wires. not for any reason, just to freshen up the ignition. Everything running fine after install. Now I am getting a chopping idle/acceleration. Give it some gas, hesistant response & then bang it chimes in full sing. Pulled the wires & redid each connection. checked the codes. Random miss & both my 02's are out. Cleaned the MAF, all electrical connections, & replaced 02's. Started her up, perfect idle...probably the strongest the car has ever run. Drove it for a half hour or so, then parked it for about 2 hours. Went back out to the car and the thing immediately is choking & bogging on or off the gas. To the point where I cant get 2K rpms. Barely made it home, pulled over like 5 times. Goes from running super strong to barely idling. Checked the codes...random misfire and both banks are running lean now. This thing is really choking all over the place, in total shock of how this thing is running. checked for arching, no sign of spark. It seems to be a heat issue? It did just do it on a cold start too though. I've seen posts on fuel pressure. Will a fuel pressure gauge hook up to my stock fuel rail. Could all of a sudden it be a faulty fuel filter? What's the easiest way to check fuel pressure. My knowledge is limited and I dont understand how a simple plug/wire change could take such a bad turn. I did re-use the boot shields for the wires from the stockers to my MSD8.5's. The MSD's have a much thinner boot structure compared to the stock wires, could they be over-heating? I'm all questions with no clues...please help S.O.S!
