Placebo or Actual SOTP Difference

So I got my new air lid from SLP. Replaced the stock one, and wow!! It seems to really have more pull.. Or is it just in my head?? Either way, really helps clean things up in the engine..

Decent lid.. I don't have any other aftermarkets to compare it to, but it seems to match up well with the maf. I like that it has the tubing for the air system instead of a dangling filter. Getting the air sensor out of the old box is kinda a pain, fortunately I have an interior panel puller that made it easy once I decided to use it..

You should notice a little more pull up top

(especially over ~3500 rpm). And the motor sounds "throatier" too

Yeah, I noticed the sound changed a bit too. I like... Now as soon as GMMG can catch up on shipping the exhausts out, and I get mine, I will be good to go!!
