Pinks All Out May 2009 in Indianapolis

Any of you guys thinking about going to this or ever been to one?!?!

I live close to Indy so figured what the hell, probably go at least to watch.

I'm doing a cam install this winter along with some suspension mods. Figure if I wanted to actually run my car I could throw on a 150-200shot. I should be able to get into the mid 10s.

That seems to be the sweet spot for where they pick people to enter the finals. I'd have to put a cage in though and that would suck...

It'd be nice to see some more LSx guys representing!

I went to the Milan, MI one and ran consistant 11.000000s but they picked 10 flat cars for the race.
I did make it on to the TV though when they were showing time trials.

Ha! I was at ORP in May for an intro to Motorsports class, and the director was giving us a tour. I asked him if they had ever tried to get a Pinks All Out, and he told me they were really close one time, but then they announced that NAPA would be the sponsor of Pinks All Out so they couldn't do it. The Motorsports Park used to be Indianapolis Raceway Park, but then O'Reilly bought the naming rights making it O'Reilly Raceway Park, which is why a NAPA sponsored event couldn't happen.

I wonder what changed? Is NAPA not a sponsor anymore?

Dunno. It's got to be at ORP, maybe they worked something out. Unless there's some super top secret dragstrip in Indy somewhere that I don't know about...
