People with B&M.......

hey everyone,

i have searched and searched for this so i wouldn't have to post another dreadful shifter thread, but this is for people with the B&M Ripper. I know that the pro 5.0 is a precision shifter and not a true short shifter (no mechanism) and the B&M is a short shifter. Is the Ripper going to be precise and short or is it just going to be shorter and not postive at all as the stock is?

also, is the ripper stick any shorter then the stock as the pro 5.0 is an inch shorter then stock...

thanks

the pro 5.0 has a better feel than my ripper had. its more stout feeling, shorter handle, ALOT shorter throw then stock or the ripper. the pro 5.0 knows its way to the next gear but so did the ripper...

overall i like the pro 5.0 ALOT more than i did my ripper so the ripper is now a show piece in my living room

I have the B&M with a MBA ****. The handle is way shorter than stock & the shifts are smooth & precise. Get the B&M you won't be dissapointed.

The Z I just bought has a B&M "Short Throw Sport Shifter" (the box was in the trunk even) and it is awesome! I compare the shifts to a rifle bolt - just a smooth short CLICK CLICK.

I have a B&M with about an inch loped off the top. I like it a lot! The shift are very short and sure. I've only miss-shifted a couple of times, but then again, I don't exactly pride myself on my shifting ability!! I'm sure you'd be happy with either!!!
Good Luck!
