Pacesetter's or SLP Long tubes
Pacesetter's or SLP Long tubes
If I could get a new set of coated pacesetter long tubes for the same price as a used set of SLP coated long tube's which would be the best choice? I have heard alot of guy's use pacesetter's on lowered car's but I don't plan to lower mine. I havent installed header's on an F body so I don't know which would be better fit or power or easier to install. I have access to a lift so either should'nt be too tuff to install (I hope)...
Re: Pacesetter's or SLP Long tubes
Dude!.....PLS get the Pacsetters!
After the SLP's, I fear no nails on the chalk board! Just driveways, speed bumps, fill caps at the gas station or anything else that isn't flush w/ the ground.

Pacesetters have zero complaints from our customers... SLP's welll....... We'd highly recomend the pacesetters. If you have anymore questions let us know!! We'll be glad to hook you up witha smoking deal on them :-D
Re: Pacesetter's or SLP Long tubes
I helped my buddy install Pacesetters on his LT1 T/A, and while the passenger's side was a bit of a b!tch to get installed, they seemed like really good quality (welds, finish, etc.) and they fit good in the car
. And considering the price (for LT1's or LS1's) they seem like real good "bang for the buck"
. Unless I'm feeling "rich" when I decide to do headers, they'll likely be my choice

Re: Pacesetter's or SLP Long tubes
I know people who have both, those with the Pacesetters have nothing but good things to say. Those with the SLPs complain alot about ground clearance and fitment.
Thank's for all the input, I will most likely go with the pacesetter's. I may call George at Kook's and see what he can do for me first. The SLP's I was watching on E-Bay went for $529. The Pacesetter's are beteeen $520 and $560.
