Got my passenger side pacesetter header tonight woo hoo!!! only to find that it was black painted instead of high temp coating errr lol. I have a phone call into eric over there at pacesetter now on making things right...since im doing a writeup about the headers im hoping they will make things right for the 2 months now ive been waiting...he said he couldnt find one in stock so hes got to get back to me...so it looks like i may be waiting a bit longer blah. Im looking for them to compensate me with the matching ypipe knowing it probably only costs them $50 to make since i was going to make my own but in the meantime this would at least get it up and running with the headers. I guess im putting their customer service to the test right about now Hopefully all will work out and I can say my experience wasnt as painfull as it looks right now.

So why are you asking this? Are you thinking about selling the Pacesetters and going with something else? Or do you just want to see what everybody's choice was/would be?

I did go with QTP.

I would go with QTP again or Kooks.

 

im asking to see what the overall concensus is...pacesetters seem to be the best bang for the buck if you get the right ones...i wouldve gone with kooks or qtp's if i had $1500 for a set of headers...cuz figure 800 for the headers, another 300 for the y and install for most people of another 400 er so...not really a great deal when you look at it that way...the pacesetters coated costed me 303 through summit since i mustve been the first order so they gave me a good price? Just with all the problems im having now wanted to know who likes what...performance is about the same across the board except for the macs and jbas but they are headers so i threw them in there.
