as stated, go for coated...still cheaper than uncoated hookers. They tend to have minor fitment issues, but the overall build quality is very good...i also dropped 6 tenths of a second from them (even with the pacesetter y-pipe interestingly enough ) so they do make some decent power.

Check out speed inc. They have a new LT header called flow tech. They are made by a sister company of Hooker and look exactly like hooker LT's but at the pacesetter price. The first shipments will be in this week I believe and I can't wait for user feedback. In theory they would fit and perform like hooker LT's but have a pacesetter price tag.

Definately get the coated.

Good Luck

Hooker and Flowtech are both owned by Holley.

coated anything has not proven ANY hp gains OR losses. and guess what, dont say they have because your WRONG. THEY HAVENT. yes they keep the engine bay a few degrees cooler. YAY. but not enough to increase or decress any HP. owned? think so. however in the long run yes it might prevent rust and unecessary wear so if ya have the extra $200-250 id get them coated.

anyways i like mine. and i think the pacesetter ORY is not to bad.. much better than stock and comparable to other after-market.. mayb you had a bad experience Antz97ZNJ?

another vote for pacesetters!

/tek.

It's not HP it's rust. The coated don't rust like the uncoated do. It's definately worth getting coated unless you live in very warm and dry climates.
