I just put a B&M deep trans pan in mine.It holds an extra 3 quarts, and it has a drain plug.Remember,90% of all trans failures are due to excessive heat.It sits lower than my 3in exhaust.

Is it so low you have to be extra careful on the slightest bumps?

I too just had a B&M 3Qt. deeper transmission pan, coupled with a B&M 24K cooler installed on my 2001 Z28 (stock height). In my case the pan DOES NOT hang down as far as my 3" Y pipe, or as low as my SLP SFC, however clearance maybe an issue with this pan if your car is lowered.

I totally agree with 5H9D0W, heat is the big killer of transmissions. After the above install, my transmission was filled with 8 Qts. of fluid not having a converter drain.

I have no problems with bottoming out going over dips or speed bumps.

Hope this helps you out in some way.
