Out with the OLD and In with the NEW!

Well, I have decided to retire the 94 Z29 mentioned in my new signature and have purchased a 00 TA LS1 - woohoo!

So my first questions are of course: Anything I need to know up front before I start the modifications? What are the tolerances of the stock rear end and transmission? Are there any differences between the LT1 4L60E and the LS1 4L60E? Any spots of concern?
This is my first LS1 - so basically, although I still have love for the LT1 - I have graduated!

CONGRATS!!!

i went from a v6 to the LS1

as far the 10 bolt goes, i dont know from xperience, but one member said it'll hold about 430rwhp max.

ive only had mine for about 6 months so im still learnin a lot.

and u have an a4 so u dont really need to look for oil eating, but it wouldnt hurt.

i cant really think of anything else, i guess listen for that SLAP...like the other thread.

Hey....By the way....the shifter has 1 2 3 and then D = does that mean, 3 is drive and D is overdrive? In the old Z28 - it had 1 2 D and OD???
