Ordering these Parts soon, Tell me what ya think

I have a 1999 Z28 and I'm gonna get some parts for it soon. All it has right now is the K&N filter and flows.

Here is what I'm planning to get:
Skip Shift Eliminator
Whisper Lid
Smooth Bellow
Shift ****
SLP MAF Meter
BMR Tubular SFCs
MSD 8.5 Spark Plug Wires
Stainless Steel Bumper Letter Inserts

Will all of these things bolt right up? I'm pretty sure they will, and will they all work with eachother? You might be thinking why am I getting plug wires... Well the previous owner had two replaced already for corrosion and arching. So I'll just make sure they are all good. And the smooth bellow, I like how it looks, very clean.

Thanks you guys!

Don't bother w/ the smooth bellow, it's a waste of $$, never seen a single positive comment on one. MAF Meter? Another waste of $$. The SFC's don't bolt up I hope you know (just making it aware since you asked if everythinb bolts right up), they're weld on only.

You'll need hundreds of dollars of modifications to the rear of the car for the stainless steel bumper letter inserts to work right. You'll also need LS1Edit to adjust your timing and air/fuel ratios to work correctly with the inserts. Oh, and a new fuel pump will also help the inserts work correctly.

Sorry, hint of sarcasm in the last paragraph, couldn't help it.

Whats wrong with the inserts? Do they not fit or something?

...hey Junior, their just messing with ya ...dont sweat it....although the inserts can wait ..same with the maf and bellows...over priced pieces of crap...you can get a fernco for way less and get the same result if you want something to look good. Or you can get a FIPK..that would look great. Skip the shift **** and get a new shifter...something quicker..and BTW, this is just the start, soon you'll be broke

I agree, get the shifter. You could also get a combo on a lid and the Fast Toys Ram Air. Check out the sponsor section. If you don't want weld in subs, you have to go with SLP bolt ons.

Here is what I'm planning to get:
Skip Shift Eliminatorif you must.. i wont ever get it.. not a bother of mine.. perhaps your driving style dictates you need it..
Whisper Lidnot a bad choice.. use with a paper filter for the most power gain.. K&N and others wont make as much power..
Smooth BellowI am sure every little bit helps but I am doubting that any of these will be shown on a dyno or at the track..
Shift ****personal taste I suppose.
SLP MAF MeterNever.. You dont have enough mods for it and they are too hit and miss.. So I would not advise for one of these..
BMR Tubular SFCsSFC are good in my book.. boxed is better but tubular isnt bad!
MSD 8.5 Spark Plug Wiresare your wires bad? why replace what doesnt need replacing? I doubt you will see any power gains on these.. the cables are so short and the power packs go to each so I dont see the gain here..
Stainless Steel Bumper Letter Insertspersonal preferance I guess..

Will all of these things bolt right up?except the parts that stick on or the ones that just slip on.. or the ones that weld on... hehe
I'm pretty sure they will, and will they all work with eachother? cant ever tell.. your SLP MAF may not like the bellow.. but I am sure your shift **** will play nice with the sub frames.. hehehe
You might be thinking why am I getting plug wires... Well the previous owner had two replaced already for corrosion and arching. So I'll just make sure they are all good.are there any other wire makers? I have liked Moroso plug wires myself.
And the smooth bellow, I like how it looks, very clean.

Thanks you guys!

Skip Shift- 2.5ohm resistor and electrical tape does the job. from radio shack..like 25 cents and unplug the cags solonoid and put the resister to the plug and your done.

Whisper lid, got mine from ls1motorsports.com for 100 bucks, kinda cool makes the car louder and its cheap.

I asked about the bellow, if you really want it pay like 25 bucks off of ebay for it instead of 50 but its a waste, especially after you get the lid.

shift ****, yeah get one that you like, I got a black cool looking SS one from a local shop here.

MAF only if you need your car Dyno tuned because the stock one isn't even being utilized completly.

Do the spark plug wires when you do something major to your car, like headers or a cam, otherwise you don't need it.

if you get subframes, make sure you get them welded on, that bolt on crap dosn't cut it. bolts broke on me twice before i finnaly had them welded.

uuuhh stainless steel, why not get something that matches the color of your car, RK sport sells them for 50 bucks my friend got them there, I got mine off of Ebay for like 8 bucks and IU swear they are the same material, polyurethene...or however you spell it.....

yeah but those mods are a good way to start, if you wanna see what's laying around for you LS1 i would recommend going to ebay and just type in "LS1" in the search field and you will find a lot of cosmetic upgrades to your car, random stuff, like I got new tail lights, one of mine had been broken by a hit and run bastard I got new tail lights for 40 bucks, dealer wnats 125 a peice....all sorts of goodies, anyway...

Later,
Chris
