Opinions on this Ebay 'custom' shifter?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=1873246485

Thinking about getting it for my 2002 SS. I dislike the way this stock setup feels, think this will be a noticible difference?

How much do you think I could buy this elsewhere, so I dont pay too much for it? Any other possible recommendations instead of getting this?

Thanks in advance!

He really has some good feedback, but I don't see how a different "stick" would make nailing the 2nd-3rd so much more likely as he claims. If you're worried about that, I would recomend the Pro 5.0. That is why I bought the Pro 5.0, and I have no complaints about it.

Thumbs up

I like a short stick without the rubber bushing in there.
Sounds cool to me, there is also Lou's Short Stick... It's a little more expensive though.
Mine was cheap... I sectioned out the part of the shifter with the bushing and welded it back together. Minus 2" when it was over with. It takes a day or so to get used to, the tranny also transmits noise into the cockpit without the bushing in there.
Good luck
Dave

Get the Lou's short stick if you have the factory hurst, no reason on going out and getting a whole new shifter when the on you have is perfectly fine. The short stick made shifts feel alot firmer and precise, and aot shorter. If you just have the stock shifter id look into and aftermarket hurst, or 5.0.

For those that have stock Hurst shifters and a Lou's... looking at this peice on ebay is there much difference that you can tell? I am looking to get a LSS, but if this is basically the same thing for half the price I will go with it.
