there doesn't seem to be many ls2/ls7 members in the Cz28 demographic.

there are a few, but not many. only one off the top of my head is Robvas...he has a GTO...but i'm not even sure its an ls2.

i'd say that ls1tech is the better place for that.

What exactly do you mean? A different car, or an engine swap?

As far as engine swap, it's not uncommon. There seem to be more of the engine swap guys, big bore big stroke over at LS1Tech.

We have some members here who have gone thru a couple engines in their Vettes...

I'm looking to build up a 6.0 iron block. The LS2 is still a bit pricey, but yes this is a relatively common upgrade.

It would basicly be the same as an LT1 to LS1 conversion. They're both LS engines. The truck blocks would be your cheaper alternative.

I bet an Iron 6.2L Block would be a nice starting point. Or is it just a 6.0L Block with a bigger stroke?

Your best bet is to go with a 6.0L LQ4 or LQ9 or the new LSX block and make whatever you want out of it

All 6.2's are Aluminum and it's a larger bore, the strokes are all the same 5.7-6.0-6.2
There are slight differences in the harnesses for the LS2 vs the LS1 (knock sensors and Cam position sensor) but extentions are available.
