My oil change light keeps comming on every time I turn on my car but turns off after a few minutes. I gave my car an oil change 300 miles ago. Why does the light come on every time I start the car?

 

I had this same problem last week. Turn your key to the ON position and hold down your trip reset until the Oil Change light goes off. That will reset it for you.

PS - it may take 10-15 seconds holding the button down.
