I've always used Mobil1 in the past. I saw the guys on Horsepower TV use Royal Purple on a new SS and gained 8 rwhp on the dyno (granted they also changed tranny oil, rear diff, etc fluids too). I'm changing my oil today. What should I go get?

or

Royal Purple?

either are fine.. just use what is easiest for you to get..

I just bought the M1-206 filter for my car as well.. $12.00 filter! UGH!

I did notice that my car did seem smoother after the oil change..


I used mobil 1..

I like Royal Purple as well.. But my contacts with them are more through my ex so no RP for me.. hehe
