I just bought a 1999 Z28 and I love it! But... 90% of the time when I turn off the car the clock on the factory Monsoon CD player doesn't properly keep track of the time. Also on occasion the Trip odometer will reset itself. I'm hoping this is only an indication that the battery is going and not a sign of something more severe. Any thoughts?

 

Some 99s had instrument cluster issues. A new battery might help as it was a voltage drop related problem.
